Faith In Place Of Mourning

Exod. 19:4 "You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself."
Num. 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should
   repent.
Has He said, and will He not do it?
Or has He spoken, and will He not
   make it good?"
Psa. 23:1-6 "The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green
   pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of
   righteousness
For His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley
   of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort
   me.

You prepare a table before me in the
   presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow
   me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the
   Lord
Forever."
Bible Note: I became a Christian four years after my mother passed. I was comforted to learn this passage was shared with her to lead her to salvation before her death. I also shared this with another loved one to encourage him to seek the Lord.
Psa. 139:1-4 "O Lord, You have searched me and
  known me.
You know my sitting down and my
  rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
You comprehend my path and my
  lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it
  altogether."
Matt. 11:25-30 "At that time Jesus answered and said, 'I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am *gentle (meek) and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.' "
Bible Note: I learned in Israel, "Meekness is nothing but power under control." Our Lord personally speaks to us an invitation in His Word.
1 Cor. 3:6-7 "I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase."
Bible Note: I recently lost another loved one suddenly. I cried out to the Lord to show me someone who was able to reach her. He did. The friend she put in charge of her estate is a Christian who had specifically spoken to her so she knew what she needed to do. I asked, "Did she ever pray with you?" She said, "No. But I prayed for her." I replied, "The rest is up to God. He is perfectly capable of standing before her at the moment of her death to receive her."
Eph. 3:20-21 "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
Phil. 4:6-8 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things."
Phil. 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Bible Note: God enabled me to focus on good memories of my loved one. How brilliant her mind was, and the wonderful talents He had bestowed upon her in her lifetime that she blessed others with."
Phil. 4:19 "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Heb. 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
Jas. 1:17-18 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures."
2 Pet. 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
Bible Note: According to these Scriptures I've realized I do not have to fret over the loss of ones I love dearly. Neither do I need to be in despair because I may not have been the one to speak of the Lord to them. My job as a Christian is to live in the light of His truth, having faith in a God who loves us all so much that He sent His Son to die for us, and Who would be able to reach them even at their last heartbeat.
Bible Note: My God astounded me. He brought my husband to a point that he was willing to pray for forgiveness of sins and for Jesus to come into his heart with me. I told him what he really needs is to ask God to help him. He said he was asking Him every day. We held hands and I prayed, "Father we come to you as husband and wife in the midst of our situation asking for Your grace and mercy. I ask you to restore my husband so he can choose life. In Jesus name. Amen." My man said, OK" Then I said, "Let Your will be done in Jesus name. Amen." My husband confirmed, "OK" And then one day God flew a Bald Eagle right over me as I pulled out of my driveway, and I said, "Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God." I told my husband, and he said, "Good." The next day he was gone. God took him home.
