Good Deeds: Do Not Grow Weary

Prov. 15:1 "A soft answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger."
Prov. 25:11 "A word fitly spoken is like apples of
  gold
In settings of silver."
Rom. 12:14-21 "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, 'Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.' says the Lord.

'Therefore if your enemy hungers, feed
  him;
If he thirsts, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of
   fire on his head.'

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
Bible Note: Years ago there was a certain woman who had an adversity to me from the moment she met me. One day I'd had enough and I sharply said to her, "Do you have a problem with me because I'm different than you?" She said, "You're just always complicating things." I snapped, "Well, God loves me the way I am, so deal with it." When I went home the Holy Spirit gave me a dream all night long of taking hairs out from between my teeth. By morning I said, "OK Lord, I'll ask her to forgive me." When I took her aside to do that, she said, "We just have clashing spirits so we can't work together." I replied, "Is that what you think? You don't think God is big enough to enable us to work together? The eye sees, the hand picks up, but it is the mind that tells both of them what to do. We just have to have the mind of Christ, and we can work together." The problem was defused from that time on. She asked my forgiveness, which I gave, and she hugged me, saying, "I'm so glad we had this talk." God does indeed honor obedience to His leading. I won a sister in the Lord that day.
Gal. 6:9-10 "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith."
Heb. 13:1-2 "Let brotherly love continue.
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels." Bible Note: I went to the laundry mat one day recently and began to speak with a man from Kenya. When I got my yardstick to clean the dust out from under the dryers, and avoid a fire hazard, he was stunned. He said I had touched his heart as I showed him humility and humbleness, and he insisted on helping me with the task. As we spoke he found out I was a Christian and he said he believed in God and in Jesus, but not religion. I shared with him, "There is a difference between being 'religious' and being Biblicaly sound. I am Biblically sound." He asked me to repeat that, and I did. He said he was surprised I spoke to him as at his work people seem to fear him. I said, "Why should I fear you? The Holy Spirit is here with us." Then he said, "You have shown me Jesus today." We had quite a conversation that day as I encouraged him in the things of God and lifted his spirit.
