"*Praise the Lord! (Heb. Hallelujah) Praise the Lord from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light! Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created. He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which shall not pass away. Praise the Lord from the earth, You great sea creatures and all the depths; Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word; Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars; Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying fowl; Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth; Both young men and maidens; Old men and children. Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven. And He has exalted the *horn (strength or dominion) of His people, The praise of all His saints - Of the children of Israel, A people near to Him. *Praise the Lord! (Heb. Hallelujah)" |

"Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the
Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice
and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen,
saying: '"Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!" (Psa. 118:26) Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!' And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, 'Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.' But He answered and said to them, 'I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.' " |
5-30-90 poem: | God has planned each and every day, Provided wind to make trees sway; He dressed the trees with many leaves, So you can see the air blown breeze. Without them the wind would blow, But only your feelings would know; If not for the wind it would be hot, And to pollinate, plants could not. The loss of food would be severe, For man's survival we all would fear; So please enjoy the daily breeze, That blows so lightly through the trees. |
