Honor Your Father And Your Mother

Exod. 20:12 "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is given you.' "
Exod. 21:15, 17 " 'And he who strikes his father or his mother shall surely be put to death...And he who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death."
Lev. 19:3 "Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father...
I am the Lord your God."
Lev. 20:9 "For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon him."
Deut. 5:16 "Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you."
Prov. 1:8 "My son, hear the instruction of your
   father,
And do not forsake the law of your
   mother."
Prov. 4:1 "Hear, my children, the instruction of a
   father,
And give attention to know
   understanding;"
Prov. 19:26 "He who mistreats his father and chases
   away his mother
Is a son who causes shame and brings
   reproach."
Prov. 20:20 "Whoever curses his father or his
   mother,
His lamp will be put out in deep
   darkness."
Prov. 23:22 "Listen to your father who begot you,
And do not despise your mother when
  she is old."
Isa. 58:6-11 "Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
Is it not to share your bread with the
  hungry,
And that you bring to your house the
   poor who are *cast out (wandering);
When you see the naked, that you
   cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own
   flesh?(kin)
Then your light shall break forth like
   the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before
   you;
The glory of the Lord shall be your rear
  guard.
Then you shall call, and the Lord will
   answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, 'Here I
   am.'
If you take away the yoke from your
   midst,
The *pointing of (Lit. sending out of) the finger,
   and speaking wickedness,
If you extend your soul to the hungry
And satisfy the afflicted soul,
Then your light shall dawn in the
   darkness,
And your *darkness (Or gloom) shall be as
   the noonday.
The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose
   waters do not fail."
Matt. 15:3-6 "... 'Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition: For God commanded, saying "Honor your father and your mother"; and, "He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death." But you say, "Whoever says to his father or mother, 'Whatever profit you might have received from me has been dedicated to the temple' - is released from honoring his father or mother." Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.' "
Eph. 6:1-3 "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with promise: 'that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.' "
1 Tim. 5:4 "But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show piety at home and to repay their parents; for this is good and acceptable before God."
