A Friend Of Benjamin

Gen. 12:1-3	"Now the Lord had said to Abram: 'Get out of your country, From your kindred And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.' "
Gen. 17:1-5	"When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, 'I am Almighty God; (Heb. El Shaddai)* walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.' Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: 'As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. (Lit. multitude of nations)* No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.' Two years after I visited them a petition in The Messianic Jewish Magazine was sent in regards to a bill in the Knesset. I gave it to several churches, and then received the following letter... The Holy Spirit led me to write the following letter... Read on for verses that qualify the last paragrah.
Exod. 3:6	"Moreover He said, 'I am the God of your father - the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God."
Num. 6:24-26	"The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace."
Deut. 28:8	"The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand..." Note: I have found in my walk with God that when I do the things He has set before me with my whole heart He blesses my hands.
Deut. 33:26-27	"There is no one like the God of *Jeshurun (a poetic name for Israel) Who rides the heavens to help you, And in His excellency on the clouds. The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms..."
2 Chr. 20:7	"Are You not our God, who drove out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel, and gave it to the descendants of Abraham Your friend forever?" See (Israel - God's People Forever!)
Isa. 41:8	"But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend."
John 14:6	"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.' "
John 17:1-5	"Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: 'Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.' " Note: Not only is God eternal, but He also makes us eternal through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, if we accept that work.
Acts 26:15-18	"So I said, 'Who are You, Lord?' And He said, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.' "
Jas. 2:21-23	"Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? (complete) And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.'* And he was called the friend of God."
1 John 5:11	"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
Rev. 1:8	" 'I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,' says the Lord, 'who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.' " Note: So what happened with the letter that I was prompted to write? It was forwarded to Bobby Brown, Adviser to the Prime Minister for Dispora Affairs, and he sent me the following letter of protocol saying I was to receive a letter from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu... As you can see the next page was indeed from Benjamin... Both of them were addressed, "Dear Friend." How amazing it was to be called, "Friend" by God's chosen people. Only the Holy Spirit could have touched them to the degree they sent me those letters. I encourage you to allow the Holy Spirit to guide you as you do the Lord's work, and you too will wonder at the results of the works of your hands."
