Fear Not!

Gen. 21:17-18 "And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, 'What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad and hold him with your hand, for I will make him a great nation.' "
2 Kin. 6:16-17 "So he answered, 'Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.' And Elisha prayed, and said 'Lord, I pray, Open his eyes that he may see.' Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."
Psa. 27:1-3 "The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked came against me
To *eat up (devour) my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
Though an army should encamp against
    me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war should rise against me,
In this I will be confident."
Isa. 35:3-4 "Strengthen the *weak (Lit. sinking) hands,
And make firm the feeble knees.
Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
'Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with
    vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you.' "
Isa. 43:1-3 "But now, thus says the Lord, who
    created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel:
'Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I
    will be with you:
And through the rivers, they shall not
    overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you
    shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior...' "
Matt. 10:27-28 "Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in *hell." (Gr. Gehenna)
Luke 12:22-34 "And He said to His disciples, 'Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, and a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart wil lbe also.' "
2 Tim. 1:6-7 "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

1 John 4:18-19 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love cast out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us."
