Healed On The Way

Psa. 107:20 "He sent His word and heald them,
And delivered them from their
  destructions."
Psa. 147:1, 3 "Praise the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our
   God;
For it is pleasant, and praise is
   beautiful...
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their *wounds (Lit. sorrows)."
Jer. 30:17 "'For I will restore health to you
And heal you of your wounds,' says the
   Lord..."
Bible Note: My dear friend who went on to be with the Lord suggested we fill in our names with this verse to personalize Gods healing for us.
John 10:10 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly."
Eph. 3:20-21 "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
Bible Note: It works in us as we believe in Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross. Find the promises in His Word and stand on them!
Phil. 4:6-8 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things."
Phil. 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Phil. 4:19 "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
1 Thes. 5:18 "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
Bible Note: This is a tough one, but the truth is you don't give thanks for bad things that happpen to you because God didn't cause them, but in them because He's there with you, and when it gets too much for you, He carries you. His Holy Spirit is there to comfort you.
Heb. 4:16 "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
1 Pet. 2:24 "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed."
Bible Note: People often say, "by whose stripes you are healed." But it is past tense in that we were healed at Calvary. It's a finished work!
3 John 2 "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
Bible Note: These are the scriptures I have been standing on since I recently had dizziness and flutters in my chest for three days that led me to the ER. When I got there they gave me the million dollar check up. They checked my blood, and hydrated me enough to send me to the bathroom so they could check my urine while they were at it. They gave me an EKG, and a CT, and then they had me go home and wear a Holter Monitor for 24 hours. When it was all over I was told I had the readings of a 35 year old, and they had no idea what happened. Billy Burke comes monthly to Monroeville's Convention Center so I went to see him just to be in a room where the Holy Spirit takes charge of the evening. It's amazing being in the presence of the Holy Spirit and seeing people freed of so many things. I was standing on my verses and ready to testify to the other blessings I'd had through his ministry in the past. Though I did not get to speak of the situation I did get a touch from the Lord through Billy, and a woman and I agreed to believe for the Lord to, "heal me on the way." I said, "Absolutely!" I believed He would not only get me home safely, but also heal me as I slept, and in the morning I was better. God's Word is true and just and if you can believe Him for what He says, He's faithful to provide all you need to fulfill what He wants you to do in your life.
