Israel - God's People Forever!

Chr. 20:5-7 "Then Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court, and said: 'O Lord God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You? Are You not our God, who drove out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel, and gave it to the descendants of Abraham Your friend forever?' "

Isa. 4:2-6 "In that day the Branch of the Lord
   shall be beautiful and glorious;
And the fruit of the earth shall be
    excellent and appealing
For those of Israel who have escaped.

And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and he who remains in Jerusalem will be called holy - everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem. When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the *blood (bloodshed) of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning, then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of the flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain."
Isa. 62:1-12 "For Zion's sake I will not *hold My
    peace, (keep silent)
And for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest,
Until her righteousness goes forth as
    brightness,
And her salvation as a lamp that burns.
The Gentiles shall see your
    righteousness,
And all kings your glory.
You shall be called by a new name,
Which the mouth of the Lord will
    name.
You shall also be a crown of glory
In the hand of the Lord,
And a royal diadem
In the hand of your God.
You shall no longer be termed
    Forsaken,
Nor shall your land any more be termed
    Desolate;
But you shall be called Hephzibah, and
    your land *Beulah; (Lit. Married)
For the Lord delights in you,
And your land shall be married.
For as a young man marries a virgin,
So shall your sons marry you;
And as the bridegroom rejoices over the
    bride,
So shall your God rejoice over you.

I have set watchmen on your walls, O
    Jerusalem,
Who shall *never hold their peace
   (not be silent) day or night.
You who *make mention of (remember) the Lord,
    do not keep silent,
And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise
    in the earth.

The Lord has sworn by His right hand
And by the arm of His strength:
'Surely I will no longer give your grain
To be food for your enemies;
And the sons of the foreigner shall not
    drink your new wine,
For which you have labored.
But those who have gathered it shall
    eat it,
And praise the Lord;
Those who have brought it together
    shall drink it in My holy courts.'

Go through,
Go through the gates!
Prepare the way for the people;
Build up,
Build up the highway!
Take out the stones,
Lift up a banner for the peoples!

Indeed the Lord has proclaimed
To the end of the world:
'Say to the daughter of Zion,
"Surely your salvation is coming;
Behold, His reward is with Him,
And His *work (recompense) before Him." '
And they shall call them The Holy
    People,
The Redeemed of the Lord;
And you shall be called Sought Out,
A City Not Forsaken."
Jer. 23:3-8 " 'But I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,' says the Lord.

'Behold, the days are coming,' says the
    Lord,
'That I will raise to David a Branch of
    righteousness;
A King shall reign and prosper,
And execute *judgment (juctice) and
    righteousness in the *earth. (land)
In His days Judah will be saved,
And Israel will dwell safely;
Now this is His name by which He will
    be called:

THE LORD IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Therefore, behold, the days are coming,' says the Lord, 'that they shall no longer say, "As the Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt," but, "As the Lord lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them." And they shall dwell in their own land.' "

Joel 2:12-19 " 'Now, therefore,' says the Lord,
'Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with
    mourning.'
So rend your heart, and not your
    garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.
Who knows if He will turn and relent,
And leave a blessing behind Him -
A grain offering and a drink offering
For the Lord your God?

Blow the *trumpet (ram's horn) in Zion,
Consecrate a fast,
Call a sacred assembly;
Gather the people,
Sanctify the congregation,
Assemble the elders,
Gather the children and nursing babes;
Let the bridegroom go out from his
    chamber,
And the bride from her dressing room.
Let the priests, who minister to the
    Lord,
Weep between the porch and the altar;
Let them say, "Spare Your people, O
    Lord,
And do not give Your heritage to
    reproach,
That the nations should *rule over
    them. (Or speak a proverb against them)
Why should they say among the
    peoples,
'Where is their God?' "

Then the Lord will be zealous for His
    land,
And pity His people.
The Lord will answer and say to His
    people,
"Behold, I will send you grain and new
    wine and oil,
And you will be satisfied by them;
I will no longer make you a reproach
    among the nations." ' "
Joel 2:21-27 "Fear not, O land;
Be glad and rejoice,
For the Lord has done *marvelous
    (Lit. great) things!
Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field;
For the open pastures are springing up,
And the tree bears its fruit;
The fig tree and the vine yield their
    strength.
Be glad then, you children of Zion,
And rejoice in the Lord your God;
For He has given you the former rain
    faithfully,
And He will cause the rain to come
    down for you -
The former rain,
And the latter rain in the first month.
The threshing floors shall be full of
    wheat,
And the vats shall overflow with new
    wine and oil.

So I will restore to you the years that
    the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among
    you.
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
And praise the name of the Lord your
    God,
Who has dealt wondrously with you;
And My people shall never be put to
    shame.
Then you shall know that I am in the
    midst of Israel,
And that I am the Lord your God
And there is no other.
My people shall never be put to shame."
Joel 3:16-21 "The Lord also will roar from Zion,
And utter His voice from Jerusalem;
The heavens and earth will shake;
But the Lord will be a shelter for His
    people,
And the strength of the children of
    Israel.

So you shall know that I am the Lord
    your God,
Dwelling in Zion My holy mountain.
Then Jerusalem shall be holy,
And no aliens shall ever pass through
    her again.

And it will come to pass in that day
That the mountains shall drip with new
    wine,
The hills shall flow with milk,
And all the brooks of Judah shall be
    flooded with water;
A fountain shall flow from the house of
    the Lord
And water the Valley of Acacias.

Egypt shall be a desolation,
And Edom a desolate wilderness,
Because of violence against the people
    of Judah,
For they have shed innocent blood in
    their land.
But Judah shall abide forever,
And Jerusalem from generation to
    generation.
For I will acquit them of bloodguilt,
    whom I had not acquitted;
For the Lord dwells in Zion."
Rom. 11:25-27 "For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own *opinion (estimation), that hardening in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:

'The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness
   from Jacob;
For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.'
