Deceived Woman - Fell

Gen. 3:12-13 "Then the man said, 'The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.' And the Lord God said to the woman, 'What is this you have done?' And the woman said, 'The serpent deceived me, and I ate.' "
Gen. 3:17 "Then to Adam He said, 'Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying. "You shall not eat of it":

'Cursed is the ground for your sake;
In toil you shall eat of it
All the days of your life.' "
BibleNote: Adam's sin was to heed the voice of his wife. He was given the instructions by God - thus had dominion; (Gen. 2:15-17, 21-24) Before the woman was created!
1 Sam. 15:22-23 "Then Samuel said:

'Has the Lord as great delight in burnt
   offerings and sacrifices,
As in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is as the sin of *witchcraft, (divination)
And stubbornness is as iniquity and
   idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of
   the Lord,
He also has rejected you from being
   king.' "
Rom. 1:18-22 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who *suppress (hold down) the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is *manifest (evident) *in (among) them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and *Godhead (divine nature), so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools,"
Rom. 5:12-21 These verses use the words sin, transgression, *offense (trespass or false step), and disobedience to describe man's fall through Adam, "...who is a type of Him who was to come." (vs. 14) which allowed death to reign in all men through him, until Jesus Christ's obedience allowed God's grace to abound to man through justification in Him, through Whom we receive eternal life."

Rom. 16:17-19 "Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and *simple (innocent) concerning evil."
2 Cor. 11:3

Eph. 5:6-11
"But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

"Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), proving what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather *expose (reprove) them."
Col. 2:8 "Beware lest anyone *cheat you (Lit. plunder you or take you captive) through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ."
1 Tim. 2:14 "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression."
BibleNote: We are on the side of grace, being able to see this thing from a perspective Adam could not see then. Having been given dominion over all Adam should have simply kicked the serpent out of the garden, and instructed his woman to heed the word of God, but I'm sure there is not a man or woman alive who would not have done the same thing they did. We are human, and made to choose God - or not. It must have been quite a shock to see the results of sin.
