We Believe Unto Life

John 3:14-21

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

John 5:24

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life."

John 8:31-32 "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, 'If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' "
John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.' "
Acts 2:38-41 "Then Peter said to them, 'Repent, and every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.' And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, 'Be saved from this *perverse (crooked) generation.' Then those who gladly receive his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them."

Rom. 8:1-2 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."

Rom. 8:29-30 "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified."
Rom. 10:8-10 "But what does it say? (in Deut. 7:14) 'The word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart' (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation."

4-26-90 poem: The touch of Your poetry isn't enough, Jesus,
If in this whole earth no one else sees this;
Words down on paper, read with blinded eyes
Are worthless unless You make them realize.

Open our eyes Lord, and unblock our fears,
So Your Word echoes throughout the worlds ears;
Stir up Your children so Jesus they seek,
Then they will be bold with strong faith, not weak.

We'll take authority with one loud voice,
And see to it Satan never has a choice!
We will all stand fast, Jesus, in Your name,
And put all the demons completely to shame.

Through the body of Christ Your power will flow,
And we will be one soul, Your love we'll all know;
We'll all work together, for Jesus by name,
'Till the day comes that forever You'll reign.
Eph. 2:4-10 "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
1 Pet. 1:22-25 "Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
   because

   'All flesh is as grass
   And all the glory of man as the flower
     of the grass.
   The grass withers,
   And it's flower falls away,
   But the word of the Lord endures
     forever.'...
