Armor Of God

Eph. 6:10-18 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the *wiles (schemings) of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - "
Truth: (Eph. 4:15)
"but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head - Christ - "

Righteousness: (Isa. 54:17)
" 'No weapon formed against you shall
   prosper,
And every tongue which rises against
   you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of
   the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,'
Says the Lord."

Peace: (Phil. 4:6-7)
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Faith: (Heb. 11:1)
"Now faith is the *substance (realization) of things hoped for, the *evidence (Or confidence) of things not seen."

Salvation: (Eph. 2:8-9)
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works, lest anyone should boast."

Sword: (Prov. 26:2)
"Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying
   swallow,
So a curse without cause shall not
   alight."

(2 Cor. 10:4-6)
"For the weapons of our warfare are not *carnal (of the flesh) but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled."

(Heb. 4:12)
"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
See (We Have Authority - In Jesus' Name)
Praying: (1 Cor. 14:2)
"For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries."
