Seven Steps To Salvation

Step 1

Rom. 10:8-10
Believe in Jesus.

"But what does it say? (in Deut. 30:14) "The word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation."

Step 2

Mark 1:14-15
We have the power and authority in Jesus to proclaim the kingdom of God.

"Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, ' The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God *is at hand. (has drawn near) Repent, and believe in the gospel.' "
Step 3

1 John 1:9
When you confess - He forgives and cleanses.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

What does God's kingdom living mean to me?
We must all believe in things we cannot see;
Though it doesn't seem to make any sense,
The Bible tells the truth within its contents.

Only with the help of our Lord's Holy Spirit
Can we begin to read the Word, and really hear it!
The Light of God shines, the verses become new,
Every time we hear it we know that they are true!

But if you sit around believing you're OK
Your life fills up with stress, until you turn God's way;
So please answer the knock of the Lord at your door,
Then follow His path to make yours ever sure.

Ask Him what He wants you to do for Him,
Then get yourself ready to have Him plunge you in;
To a life of wonder beyond your wildest dream
As walking with Jesus is never what it seemed!
Step 4

Mark 11:25-26
Forgive.

"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."

Step 5

2 Cor. 6:14-18
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.

"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

'I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.'
(Ezek. 37:27)

Therefore

'Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.
(Isa. 52:11)
I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and
   daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.'
"
Step 6

Mark 11:22-24
Believe when you pray.

"So Jesus answered and said to them, 'Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.' "
Step 7

Eph. 3:20-21
God's power works in us!

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
BibleNote: The glory goes to God! When we step out and choose to believe in the gift He offers each of us, and follow His ways, He does the miraculous through us!
