Psa. 21:3 |
"For You meet him with the blessings of goodness;
You set a crown of pure gold upon his head." |
Psa. 79:8 |
"Oh, do not remember *former iniquities against us!
(Or iniquities of those before us) Let Your tender mercies come
speedily to meet us, For we have been brought very low." |
Prov. 16:7 |
"When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even
his enemies to be at peace with him."
Note: When I came to the Lord I had a
hostile situation around me with the neighbors. I felt it was necessary to
speak to each one individually and tell them I had become a Christian, had no
animosity towards anyone for any reason, and asked them to forgive me for
anything I said or did in the past to hurt them. One lady said "I have no problem with
that, maybe we can talk and wave some time." God changed her entire countenance
toward me. One man, with tears in his eyes said, "I have no hard feelings, I
just want to be left alone." It wasn't me who wouldn't leave him alone, it was
his dad. I was able to approach his dad later as well, and even he let up in time.
God does indeed meet us. |
Heb. 4:16 |
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
Note: My daughter
accidentally gave her nuna a dose of a new medicine with the old one not
realizing the new had replaced the other. I went boldly to the altar of our
church and fervently pleaded for God's grace for Nuna according to this
scripture - until I felt a release of the fear. By the grace of God my
mother-in-law was unharmed. |
Heb. 10:19-22 |
"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."
