If You Seek Him - You Will Find Him

Deut. 4:29 "But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul."
2 Chr. 7:14 "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
Example: 2 Chr. 15:1-4, 15
"Now the Spirit of God came upon Asariah the son of Oded. And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: 'Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them.'..."And all Judah rejoiced at the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and sought Him with all their soul; and He was found by them, and the Lord gave them rest all around."
Isa. 55:6-7 "Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the *wicked (Lit. man of iniquity)
   forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon."

Jer. 29:13 "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
Zeph. 2:1-3 "Gather yourselves together, yes
   gather together,
O *undesiraable (Or shameless) nation,
Before the decree is issued,
Before the day passes like chaff,
Before the Lord's fierce anger comes
   upon you,
Before the day of the Lord's anger
   comes upon you!
Seek the Lord, all you meek of the
   earth,
Who have upheld His justice.
Seek righteousness, seek humility.
It may be that you will be hidden
In the day of the Lord's anger."
Matt. 6:19-21

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Pebble story: There was a boy who grew up hearing about Jesus. He prayed to Him every day, but there came a time when he couldn't feel loved because of all the rejection in his life. With the last bit of faith he had he closed his eyes and prayed one more time. When he opened his eyes he saw a Man in a bright light. His face shown, and the air around Him felt like silk. The Man gave the boy a pebble and said to "Drop it into a pond." He did and the Man said "What happened?" The boy said "It sunk." The Man said "Is that all? What about the ripples?" The boy said "Yah, there were ripples!" The Man said "Close your eyes and try it one more time, and listen." He did and the Man said "What happened?" The boy said "I heard it plop. It must have sunk, and there must be ripples!" The Man said "When you give out love, just like the pebble in the pond there are ripples that go out, and if the love doesn't come back to you it goes up to Me in heaven, and I put it in My treasures until you come." So let's not grow weary of giving out love. God stores it for us.
Matt. 7:7-8

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

Rom. 8:31-36 "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies, Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written:

'For Your sake we are killed all day
   long;
We are accounted as sheep for the
   slaughter.' "
      (Psa. 44:22)
Col. 3:1-4 "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory."
