Overcomers - In Jesus

Num. 13:30 "Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, 'Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overwome it.' "
Bible Note: Caleb had a "...different spirit..." (Num. 14:24) and trusted God.
John 16:33

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Rom. 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
Phil. 4:6-9
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you."

BibleNote: We thank God in our trials because, though He allowed it, He is with us, and He can turn all things to our good (Rom. 8:28).
1 John 4:4 "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
1 John 5:4-5 "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"
Rev. 12:9-11 "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, 'Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."
