Regard Iniquity? - God Will Not Hear!

Psa. 66:18 "If I regard iniquity in my heart
The Lord will not hear."
Isa. 1:15-20 "When you *spread out your hands, (pray)
I will hide My eyes from you;
Even though you make many prayers,
I will not hear.
Your hands are full of *blood. (bloodshed)
Wash yourselves, make yourselves
   clean;
Put away the evil of your doings from
   before My eyes.
Cease to do evil,
Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Reprove the oppressor;
*Defend (Vindicate) the fatherless,
Plead for the widow.
'Come now, and let us reason
   together',
Says the Lord,
'Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.
If you are willing and obedient,
You shall eat the good of the land;
But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword';
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken."

Mic. 3:4 "Then they will cry to the Lord,
But He will not hear them;
He will even hide His face from them at
   that time,
Because they have been evil in their
   deeds."
Luke 8:14

"And the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity."

John 8:31-32 "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, 'If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' "
Rom. 7:17-20 "But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me."
See (If We Say We Do Not Sin)
2 Tim. 3:1-7 "But know this, that in the last days *perilous times (times of stress) will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers; disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, withoug self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Jas. 4:1-10 "Where do *wars (battles) and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and *war (battle). Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, 'The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously'? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

'God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.'
      (Prov. 3:34)

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up."
