Words Of Encouragement For Today

Num. 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should
  repent.
Has He said, and will He not do it?
Or has He spoken, and will He not
   make it good?"
Psa. 22:3 "But You are holy,
Who inhabit the praises of Israel."

Prov. 25:11 "A word fitly spoken is like apples of
   gold
In settings of silver."
Bible Note: One day when I was a babe in the Lord my husband was angry at me. So I went into my bedroom and began to pray in my prayer language. He brought one of the girls over and said "What's she doing?" She said "She's praying in her prayer language." And went to her room. I said to him "I don't want to argue with you so I'm praying." He calmly said "As long as it works." And walked away. I shared this in my church not long ago as a word of encouragement on having a prayer language, and said "It stops the mouths of lions."
Luke 12:11-12

"Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say."

John 14:12-17 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another *Helper, (Comforter) that He may abide with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."
Acts 17:11 "These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so."
Bible Note: We should be like the Bereans and search out what we hear in Scripture.
Rom. 8:26-28 "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
Bible Note: My mother-in-law had Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's, and my older daughter was living with her 24/7. I came up for the weekend one time to relieve her, and as I lay down to go to sleep an ungodly howl came out of my mother-in-law. I jumped out of bed, and prayed out loud in my prayer language all the way down the hall to her. Then I said (as I put my hand on her head) "You foul tormenting spirit, I speak 'Peace!' to you in Jesus' name! You leave her alone!" Instantly it left her, and she never even woke up.

Rom. 14:1 "Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things."
1 Cor. 2:6-10 "However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is written:

'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for
  those who love Him.'
      (Isa. 64:4)

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God."
1 Cor. 14:2 "For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries."
1 Cor. 14:26 "How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for *edification (building up)."
1 Cor. 14:33 "For God is not the author of *confusion (disorder) but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
Eph. 2:10 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should wald in them."
Bible Note: Every human being on the earth has been created to walk into a good work that God prepared for them. We need to seek Him for that work.
Eph. 6:18 "praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit..."
Bible Note: This is attached to the whole armor of God.
See (Armor Of God)
Phil. 4:6-8 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things."
Bible Note: We need to get our focus right! Don't think of the negative things that are happening around us. Focus on the good stuff God is doing for us, and praise Him in the midst of it!
Phil. 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengtherns me."
Phil. 4:19 "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
1 Thes. 5:15-22 "See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
Rejoice always,
pray without ceasing,
in everything give thanks; for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Do not quench the Spirit.
Do not despise prophecies.
Test all things; hold fast what is good.
Abstain from every form of evil."
2 Tim. 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
Bible Note: I was caring for my mother's sister before she passed away, and one day I was starting to panic. I was pacing. I did not want to see her sick as it was like watching my mother die again, but I knew if I said it that way she would send me home, and as hard as it was I wanted to stay. So I said "I don't want you to be sick." She snapped "I don't want to be sick either." Then I sat down next to her and began to pray in the Spirit. I explained it was my prayer language. I don't know what she needs, but God does, and the Holy Spirit speaks mysteries. She said "OK." Then these three scriptures came out of my mouth, verbatim (2 Tim. 1:7, Phil. 4:13, and Phil. 4:19, in that order) A peace came over both of us.
This too was shared with the church.
Heb. 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
Heb. 13:15 "Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, *giving thanks to (Lit. confessing) His name."
Bible Note: If you are uncomfortable with speaking in an unknown language you can praise the Lord in the midst of your circumstances like I did one day when I was mopping up the basement floor from the creek being up. I was angry and yelling at God. "Is this it? Is this what I'm going to do the rest of my life? Mop up crap?" Then I made a decision. I chose to praise God! I began with simply singing "Holy, holy, holy." And then the Holy Spirit took it from there. One step of obedience is all it takes. The atmosphere changed! Yes. I was still mopping crap, but my heart changed. I was happy. Praising God really works!

3:20 am
I praise You Father, in my time of affliction,
I know on Your love there is no restriction;
He who is in me is stronger, I know,
Than anything on earth that does, or does not show.

"No weapon formed against you shall prosper," says Your Word,
I say this in these times to be sure that I heard;
Then Your praise song comes into my mind
I sing it to You so that joy I do find.

Your Holy Spirit then fills me with peace
As the power of calm the Spirit does release;
From the top of my head to the tip of my toes
I relax in God's peace that in my soul grows.

No matter the hour of these battles in my life
The Holy Spirit's power takes away my strife;
Then I do find that He fills me with grace
To write down these poems that time can't erase.

My only desire is to share all these words
With all of mankind to be sure that they're heard;
Then when the time comes that You call me home
Man will read these words, and from Your grace they'll not roam.
Jas. 1:17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no varitation or shadow of turning."
